Agri Week: Impact of Revised Climate Action Bill & Septic tanks discussed

On this week’s edition of Agri week:

Independent TD Michael Fitzmaurice believes the people of Ireland need to wake up to the consequences of the revised Climate Action Bill which was passed by Cabinet recently.

When it comes to Agriculture Fitzmaurice added the bill is short of detail but still pushes farmers to cutback without knowing the full picture.

Deputy Fitzmaurice says if this bill is not challenged it could results in large parts of the West and north west being turned into large theme Parks

The issue of one housing is something that we have covered on a regular basis down throughout the years.  Problems with septic tanks and water treatment systems are also a major contributing factor to planning permission being turned down.  Paschal Troy from Kingspan Klargester joins us to discuss the issue.
