SUH has second highest number of patients waiting for beds today



Sligo University Hospital has the second-highest number of patients waiting for beds today.

There are 31 such patients in Sligo, 23 in the Emergency Department and 8 on wards, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

University Hospital Limerick has the most patients awaiting beds . . . the figure there is 53.

In Letterkenny University Hospital, there are 7 patients in wards waiting for beds. There are 15 in Mayo University Hospital.

Overall throughout the country today, there are 202 patients waiting for beds in the country’s hospitals.
