Sligo Fire Service attended a fire in the town yesterday evening.
The incident happened in a lane way off Connolly St. by Market Yard where two units of the service quickly brought the fire under control.
Gardaí attended the scene of an oil tank that was on fire.
No injuries were reported during the incident but smoke was ventilated from a number of adjoining buildings as a precaution and enquiries are ongoing.
