The local authority in Sligo have given a commitment to carry out repair works to the wall at Mullaghmore Harbour.
Over the last number of months a large stone has been dislodged on one of the main walls of the harbour and this has led to concerns for the safety of boat owners who use the popular facility.
Sligo Drumcliff independent Councillor Marie Casserly has called on the Council to carry out repair works in order to prevent the situation becoming more serious.
