A Sligo councillor says a restoration and maintenance project that was carried out in a graveyard in Ballisodare could be repeated in another burial ground at Kilross.
The historic graveyard is located alongside the R290 road, opposite Kilross National School, between Ballygawley and Ballintogher.
Cllr Thomas Healy says a very successful graveyard restoration project was carried out in Ballisodare with the cooperation of St Fechin’s Committee, Sligo Leader and the county council.
He is now calling for a committee to be established to do the same in Kilross.
