It’s been claimed that there could be an influx of gambling halls into Sligo Town if a proposal to come before next Monday’s meeting of Sligo Municipal District Council is passed. That’s according to Labour Party area representative, Nessa Cosgrove, who says the council are due to debate adoption of Part III of the Gaming and Lotteries Act
