Healthcare staff across Sligo are being vaccinated at the newly established Vaccination Centre in the Knocknarea Arena at IT Sligo from this week.
The majority of frontline workers in hospitals have received their first and second dose but thousands of workers not in hospitals are to receive their doses.
Minister of State at the Department of Health is Frank Feighan.
Speaking to OceanFM News, he says there it’s hoped a million people a month will be able to be vaccinated by April.
