Training programme for NW, border areas



An innovative training programme to enhance creativity among people, communities and business across the North West will be launched over the coming weeks.

Locally the project is being launched in Donegal tomorrow, Sligo on Friday and in Leitrim on March 12th.

The Local Development Companies will be involved in the delivery of the programmes and will explore and develop the ‘nature of rural innovation’ and how it can best be stimulated and supported in the border area achieving it’s potential.

Brian Smyth, from the Leitrim Development Company, says the innovating training will help the local region to tackle various challenges including those posed by Brexit
