Government support required for travel industry



The Irish Travel Agents Association have requested that business support package are made available to them in light of the current challenges they are facing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The ITAA met with Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan where they outlined the impact that the restrictions were having on the Irish travel industry.

 

 

The former president of the ITAA, Bundoran travel Agent Cormac Meehan, says tailored business supports for the travel industry is required and that government support so far has been inadequate.
