There are calls for suicide prevention training to be a requirement for all frontline staff in public bodies and government departments.
The proposal is in a Bill put forward by Sinn Fein.
Party MLA Jemma Dolan for Fermanagh/South Tyrone says that given the tragic rates of people taking their own lives, this training could make a real difference.
