Too much ‘red tape’ in controlling dogs and protecting sheep

The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association is calling for the ‘red tape’ to be got rid of when it comes to the control of dogs and the protection of sheep.

INHFA President, Colm O Donnell, of Kilmactigue, in Sligo, says there continues to be ‘a scattered approach’ when it comes to dealing with this ongoing problem of dog attacks on sheep.

He told Niall Delaney on the North West Today Show that a streamlined approach is needed.
