Latest 14 day incidence rate for the north west



The 14 day incidence rate per 100,000 population remains above the national average of 299.6 in two Local Electoral Areas in the north west.

The latest daily figures show 8 new cases were recorded in Sligo, 17 in Donegal and less than 5 in Leitrim.

The 14 day rate, accurate as of the 8th of February, shows the Sligo/Strandhill area has a rate of 307.6, Sligo/Drumcliffe is on 198 and Ballymote/Tubbercurry is on 198.3.

The Manorhamilton local Electoral Area of Leitrim has a rate of 203.3 and South Donegal is on 317.1.

There has been a total of 259 cases recorded during this time in these areas.

According to HSE figures, as of 6.30pm yesterday evening, there were no critical care beds available in both Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals.
