Coid-19 vaccination centre will open tomorrow at the Knocknarea Arena

A large Covid-19 vaccination centre to cover the North West will commence operations at the Knocknarea Arena in Sligo Institute of Technology from tomorrow.

The HSE confirmed last week that they were examining ways to ensure people living in remote areas of rural Ireland are vaccinated.

OceanFM news understand that Health care workers will be the first to be administrated vaccinations at the new centre followed by over 70’s.

Minister for state at the Department of Health Frank Feighan expects the centre will cater for the North West region.
