Farmers ‘fed up’ with attacks on sheep



Farmers are taking action against dog attacks.

Just last Friday a number of sheep were injured and killed in an attack in the Streedagh area of Sligo Co Sligo.

Farmers will be putting up ‘No Dogs Allowed’ posters on farm gates across the country, to deter walkers with dogs from their lands.

The Irish Farmers Association says there’s been a significant rise in attacks by dogs on livestock in recent months.
