Leitrim GAA’s ’50 Miles in January’ challenge has raised in excess of €100,000.
The county’s supporters club challenge people at the start of the year to raise funds for the cash-strapped county board by walking, jogging, running or soloing 50 miles during the month of January.
The event’s GoFundMe page passed 60,000 on January 31st but was left open for the first week in February.
The money raised broke through the 100k barrier on Sunday (Feb 7th).
