Calls are being made on the Minister of Agriculture to be more pro-active in finding a solution for those farmers affected by the landslide on Shass Mountain close to Drumkeerin in County Leitrim.
Sligo Leitrim TD Martin Kenny claims that property impacted is being negatively impacted as a result of the landslide.
Farmers are also concerned in relation to their applications for the ANC/BPS schemes.
Deputy Kenny says he has tabled a number of parliamentary questions to establish if the farmers would receive compensation for the damage to their lands.
The Sinn Fein TD says the response has been disappointing and has provided little in the way of clarification.
