Concern expressed over DUP’s attempts to undermine Protocol



The Border Community against Brexit group have expressed their concern over the recent developments in Northern Ireland which has resulted in the DUP calling on all Unionist parties to unite and undermine the Northern Ireland protocol.

 

The North’s First and Deputy First Ministers will hold talks with the European Commission and the British Government today.

 

It follows Europe’s decision to trigger and subsequently revoke Article 16 of the protocol on Friday.

 

 

Some animal and food checks at Larne and Belfast have stopped after graffiti opposing the Irish Sea border was painted in Loyalist areas.

 

There were fears for the safety of staff.
