Local groups throughout Donegal are being asked to come up with ideas for this year’s Colmcille 1500 Commemorations.
It’s to mark the 1500th anniversary of the birth of Colmcille, also known as Columba.
Donegal County Council and Derry City & Strabane District Council are coordinating a programme for the year, which includes a community grants scheme that is open until 3pm on Friday February 19th.
