More certainty needed over AstraZeneca deliveries

The timetable for vaccinating 700,000 people by March is in doubt.

There is likely to be an under delivery of doses from AstraZeneca, however, Sligo/Leitrim TD and Minister of State at the Department of Health, Frank Feighan, says other vaccines will hopefully be approved in the coming weeks.

The EU and AstraZeneca couldn’t reach an agreement recently over the delayed delivery.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy Feighan says the government would like to see more certainty surrounding the delivery of vaccines.
