A Leitrim Councillor is claiming inadequate broadband is adding to peoples worries during the latest lockdown in rural Ireland and such issues are disproportionately negatively impacting the north west.
A recent survey by ComReg has also found that 60 percent found no change in their service, despite more people working remotely.
Leitrim Sinn Feinn Councillor Padraig Fallon says rural households where parents have to work from home and school going children have to study remotely are being negatively impacted.
