As hospitals strive to deal with the surge in Covid-19 cases, there was just one critical care bed available yesterday evening in Sligo University Hospital and none available in Letterkenny University Hospital.
Sligo had two cases in its critical care unit while Letterkenny had five.
The hospitals were treating a total of 152 confirmed Covid cases, 39 in Sligo and 113 in Letterkenny.
