A Status Yellow rainfall warning is in place from 9 o’clock tonight (Monday) until 9 o’clock tomorrow night for a number of counties, including all those in Connacht, as well as Cavan and Monaghan
Met Eireann says heavy rainfall will lead to accumulations of 30 to 50mm, with higher accumulations in mountainous areas.
This will bring a risk of some river and localised flooding.
