St. Phelim’s Nursing Home in Dromahair, Co. Leitrim are to receive the Covid-19 vaccine today.
The rollout of the national vaccination programme has been sped up with those most vulnerable to the virus receiving it over the coming days and weeks.
However the drug company Pfizer is confirming there will be a reduction of its Covid-19 vaccines delivered to the EU next week but Professor Brian MacCraith, the chairman of the state’s vaccine taskforce, says it will only have a ‘modest’ impact on the rollout here.
