A Sligo man has been appointed to the government’s new Town Centres First Advisory Group.
He’s Finbarr Filan, a local business owner and former Chair of Sligo Business Improvement District (BID).
The group aims to focus on supports and funding needed to revitalise town centres around the country.
Speaking to OceanFM News, Mr. Filan says he aims to get Sligo Town to be used for as many pilot programmes as possible.
