A Co Donegal undertaker has urged the return of traditional Irish funeral customs as a way of showing respect to bereaved families during the Covid crisis. Charlie McClafferty says people should bow their heads and stand still when a funeral hearse passes by, which is proving of great comfort to families at reduced-numbers funerals
