Sligo woman is Ireland U16 basketball manager

Sligo native Siubhéan Crowne is the manager of the Ireland girls under-16 basketball team.

The team is due to compete in this June’s European Championships in Sarajevo – but the uncertainty around the Covid pandemic means their participation in the event is in some doubt.

Siubhéan spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan about her role with the Irish team (she works by day as a Sports Psychology Consultant) – and she’s also lending her support this month to St John’s GAA Club’s ‘Operation Transformation’ event in Sligo.
