A Sligo councillor is calling for more money for road gritting.
As the cold spell continues, major roads have been treated but many minor roads in rural areas remain treacherous.
Sligo Fine Gael Councillor Tom Fox says he would like to see more roads treated but for this to happen, an increase in funding is needed.
