Paul Byrne, Thornhill, Strandhill Road, Sligo and former manager of Sligo and Roscommon County Councils. Peacefully in the Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the Funeral Mass and burial are private to family and limited to 10 persons. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Thursday in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. John (Seanie) Kerrigan, Carney, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Non-Covid related. Removal from his home on Thursday morning to St Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac. Requiem mass at 12:00 noon, followed by private cremation at Lakelands crematorium, Cavan. Due to government directives and HSE guidelines, the house and church will be restricted to family. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies may do so on the condolence section on rip.ie Family flowers only, please. Mary Kate Beirne, nee McDonagh, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co Roscommon. Peacefully at her home. Mary’s funeral cortege will leave her home on Thursday morning to arrive to St Joseph’s Church, Boyle, for funeral mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in Assylynn cemetery, Boyle. In keeping with government guidelines, Mary’s funeral is restricted to family only. Those wishing to offer their condolences can do so using the condolence link on rip.ie. Gerry Gillespie, Meenasillagh, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal. Peacefully at his residence.  Non-Covid Related.  Remains reposing privately at his late residence.  Removal on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In compliance with HSE guidelines and Government directives, the family home and Funeral Mass are strictly private and limited to 10 people. For those who cannot attend, the Funeral Mass will be streamed live by Margaret Rose Cunningham on her facebook page.

 

Gráinne Kelly, No. 3 Glenview, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

 

Liam Thomas, 17 St Joseph Avenue, Donegal Town, Co Donegal. In Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA. Remains reposing at the residence of his brother Eamonn at 17 St Joseph Avenue, Donegal Town, from 7pm on Thursday. Remains leaving his brother’s residence on Friday at 10:30am for funeral mass at 11 am in St Agatha’s Church, Clar, with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Due to government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings house and funeral mass are private to family.
