The development of another food hub in Drumshanbo in Co Leitrim is expected to start in early 2021.
Planning permission to develop a former IDA advance factory which is located on the Dowra road has been submitted to Leitrim County Council. The project is expected to create up to 50 new jobs once it becomes fully operational.
The existing food hub in Drumshanbo which is situated at the site of the former Laird’s factory has been in operation since 2007. Ocean FM news understands that tenants from this site will avail of space in the new centre which will lead to business expansion.
