Irish farmers braced for agri-food impact



5.5 billion euro worth of Irish agri-food exports to the UK are at stake even with a limited Brexit trade deal, according to the Irish Farmers Association.

It will tell today’s Oireachtas Agriculture Committee that Irish farmers stand to take an ‘unsustainable hit’.

Dairy Industry Ireland will call for ‘very significant’ government and EU interventions when it briefs TD’s and Senators.
