McConalogue expresses concern at Brexit impact on fishing



A Donegal TD has expressing serious concern about the UK’s demands on fisheries in the Brexit trade talks.

It’s proving to be one of the sticking points in the negotiations, which are continuing in London.

The EU has offered to give back up to 18 per cent of fish caught in British waters to help secure a deal.

But that was rejected, and Marine Minister’s Minister Charlie McConalogue says the UK’s demands are over the top.
