North West hoteliers say they have ‘gone from one winter into another’

Hoteliers in the north west region are calling on the government to allow people travel outside their county and to permit indoor dining in hotels.

The Irish Hotels Federation believe that such controlled environments would limit the number of social gatherings in homes.

The hospitality sector has been devastated by the ongoing pandemic and the chairman of Irish Hotels Federation branch for Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon says the sector has invested a huge amount of money to ensure safety for staff and guests.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Michael Yates says the sector has essentially gone from one winter into another.
