Safety concerns in relation to Kilross National School were raised at this week’s meeting of the Sligo Drumcliff MD of the local authority.
Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy has called for the upgrading of signage and traffic safety measures to be implemented at the school.
He says the School is “located in an 80km speed zone and requires additional safety measures with large volumes of traffic passing directly outside the school on a daily basis.
