Gardaí in Manorhamilton have confirmed that investigations are under way following criminal damage which was caused to a Hitachi 130 Track machine.
The Digger was working in a forestry site which was situated in Killavoggy which is close to Dromahair.
Gardaí have confirmed to Ocean FM news that an incident of criminal damage by fire took place yesterday. The digger was set alight during the incident. No arrests have been made.
Ocean FM news understand the machine was owned by a local contractor who was contracted to carry out work on behalf of a forestry company at the location.
