Varadkar confidence motion: How your TD voted

Four of the nine TDs in the north west voted in favour the Sinn Fein no confidence motion in Tanaiste Leo Varadkar.

They were Sinn Fein TDs Martin Kenny in Sligo/Leitrim and Pearse Doherty and Padraig MacLochlainn in Donegal as well as Independent Thomas Pringle, also in Donegal.

The five who voted in favour were Donegal TDs Joe McHugh (FG) and Charlie McConalogue (FF), as well as Sligo/Leitrim TDs Frank Feighan (FG), Marc MacSharry (FF) and Independent Marian Harkin.

Deputy MacSharry explained on the North West Today Show this morning why he voted against the no confidence motion, despite his earlier stringent criticism of Deputy Varadkar and the handling of the issue by Taoiseach Micheal Martin.
