A Leitrim councillor is calling for a full report into the cost of failed housing estate developments in the county during the past 20 years.
Independent Councilor Des Guckian is seeking a report into how much this has cost the local authority over the years and how it may have impacted on other potential works that the council could have carried out.
Cllr Guckian has put down a motion with his request for next week’s meeting of the council.
Speaking to OceanFM News, Councillor Guckian believes Leitrim County Council made a number mistakes when it came to developers.
