A local TD is criticising the government for rushing the Mother and Baby Homes Bill.
Independent Deputy, Thomas Pringle, proposed an amendment to the Commission of Investigation (Mother and Baby Homes and certain related Matters) Records but noticed it was absent from debate.
This has been put down to a communication error between the Ceann Comhairle and the Bills Office.
Speaking to OceanFM News, the Donegal TD says while it appears to be an honest mistake, it shows how fast the bill is being pushed through.
