A Status Yellow Rainfall warning is in force for a number of counties, including all those in Connacht, Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.
Met Éireann says there will be heavy rain at times today (Monday) and tomorrow, with a risk of flooding.
Rainfall totals of around 30-50mm are expected, possibly higher in mountainous areas.
The rainfall warning is in place until 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon.
