A new car park to cater for people attending Manorhamilton Primary Care Centre and Our Lady’s Hospital is to be built.
Works are due to begin on Monday the 26th of October while there will be a road closure from Monday the 2nd of November until Friday the 13th.
Diversions will be on the road by the care centre onto the N16 along with a stop/go system on the hospital road.
The works are expected to be completed by the 21st of December.
21 additional car parking spaces are to be built along with a new road surface, footpath, public lighting and traffic calming measures.
Local Independent Councillor, Felim Gurn, welcomes the news saying it’s been a long time coming.
