On this week’s edition of Agri Week:

 

The IFA President Tim Cullinan, welcomes the recent results from a vote in the European Parliament that emphasises that the EU-Mercosur agreement cannot be ratified as it stands.

 

The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association (INHFA) has hardened its position in relation to its dispute within the Beef Market Taskforce (BMT) forum because of the non-delivery to date on the commitment to develop a Suckler brand. The Association’s President, Colm O’Donnell give us his take.

 

Meanwhile The Chairman of the Sligo Beef Plan Movement tells us of their concerns over the Bord Bia PGI Speck with the Beef Task Force Committee. Gerard Pilkington says farmers have not been adequately consulted by Bord Bia on the issue.
