Golf’s All-Ireland Club finals called off

The Golfing Union of Ireland has called off the AIG All-Ireland Cups & Shields finals, scheduled for Donegal Golf Club in Murvagh this weekend in light of the Government’s announcement on Wednesday evening.

The Union’s plans for all domestic competitions are under review as of now, and further updates will be given in the coming days.

Murvagh was scheduled to hold the finals for the AIG Senior and Junior Cups, as well as the Pearse Purcell and Jimmy Bruen Shield competitions – which are among the most prestigious club competitions in the Irish golfing calendar each year.
