Taoiseach Micheál Martin, European Affairs Minister Thomas Byrne and other EU leaders will begin a two-day European Council summit in Brussels today – with Brexit top of the agenda.
Boris Johnson set today as the deadline for a trade agreement, while the EU’s deadline is the end of this month.
The Taoiseach says he hopes there’ll be a positive outcome to the negotiations, but a deal can’t come at any price.
