Donegal Town gets a welcome boost this morning with the official opening of its refurbished Lidl store on the Ballybofey Road.
The opening will be performed by LGFA and GAA stars Emer Gallagher and Michael Murphy.
The refurbishment has resulted in a €7m investment supporting more than 100 jobs throughout the construction and development phases.
It has also created 10 new permanent jobs with the retailer.
To mark the opening, Lidl Donegal will welcome representatives from the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation to accept a donation of €1,000 to support its work.
