Taylor says players’ health and safety comes first

Sligo senior football manager Paul Taylor says the ‘health and safety of the players and the group will be first and foremost on the minds of the management at all times’.

Speaking to Ocean FM, Taylor highlighted how even though their objective is to succeed as a team this season, that the welfare of the group is the main priority.

He also spoke of the inter county retirement of Adrian Marren, as well as the acquisition of Knockmore sharp shooter Peter Naughton.

Sligo restart their campaign with a trip to Carlow on October 17th, and will host Limerick the following week.
