Motorists travelling from Coolaney in south Sligo toward Ballina or Sligo town are urged to drive with caution because of an accident near Coolaney.
A vehicle is on its side at the scene and gardai and fire personnel are present.
The road affected leads from Coolaney to the N59 road, as well as the road to Collooney and Sligo
