Message to students: ‘Keep it Small, Keep it Safe, Keep your Distance’

Students are being urged to keep the number of people they meet up with small when they return to college.

It’s the start of the new semester for many colleges and ITs and a new campaign’s been launched with the message of ‘Keep it Small, Keep it Safe, Keep your Distance’.

It comes as the Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn says the virus is spreading disproportionately among young people.

Jason Quinn is the President of the IT Sligo Union of Students.

He has been telling our reporter Harry Keaney about the ‘Keep it Small, Keep it Safe, Keep your Distance’ campaign.
