St Joseph’s Edernery are celebrating their first Fermanagh senior football championship title since 1968 following Sunday night’s 2-8 to 1-6 win against holders Derrygonnelly Harps.
The Harps were bidding to land a sixth consecutive senior title – but they came up against a hungry and Martin McGrath-inspired Ederney side.
The title adds a fitting touch of gloss to the playing career of McGrath who had served his club and county with distinction for so many seasons.
