Glynn expresses concern in relation to Covid-19 cases in Donegal



The acting Chief Medical Officer has expressed concern at the increasing levels of Covid-19 in Donegal, Louth, and Waterford.

 

Dr. Ronan Glynn says it’s vital people in all counties do all they can to stop the spread of the Coronavirus over the next 7 days.

19 new cases were confirmed for Donegal in the latest figures released by Health officials. 19 cases for the County which were first reported on Saturday were also allocated to Donegal yesterday.

Yesterday saw the highest daily number of new coronavirus cases since mid-May – 396 were confirmed, bringing the weekend total to 670.
