Permission has been granted for 56 residential units to be built in Co. Donegal.
Subject to certain conditions, the houses are to be built on a 4.8 acre site in Drumrooske Middle, Donegal Town.
The proposal includes 26 three-bedroom, two-storey semi-detached, 16 two-bedroom two-storey terraces, a duplex with four two-bedroom ground floor apartments with four three bedrooms above and another duplex with three two-bedroom ground apartments and three three-bedrooms above.
The application also includes the building of access roads, footpaths and crossings, public lighting, a children’s play area, boundary walls and fences and car and bicycle parking.
Independent Donegal Town Municipal District Councillor, Tom Conaghan, says there is demand for houses in the area and it’s great to see the development in the town.
