New CranmoreConnect website provides education information, guidance

A new website is being launched as part of a community project based in Cranmore in Sligo town that will provide  information and guidance to people in relation to further education.

The website is called CranmoreConnects and is one of the first initiatives of its kind in Ireland.

Dr Celia Keenaghan is education mentor with the Cranmore Regeneration Project and IT Sligo.

The website supports the work of Dr. Keenaghan, who is available to the Cranmore community
three days a week to mentor second and third level students and also adults who are looking to retrain, go back to education or just trying to figure out what direction to take.

People may contact Celia from Monday to Wednesday on 085 875 1245 or at Keenaghan.celia@itsligo.ie

Dr Keenaghan  has been telling Ocean FM News about the new website and the supports available for people considering further education.
